Lindsey’s story of single mum looking to make friends will take you via the pitfalls of trying to ‘join in’ at a variety of classes to finding her feet, via her right arm , and discovering Burlesque whilst in her late 40s and then joining the Women’s Institute and teaching Burlesque to other WI members, and then forming a dance troupe, The Burlesque Bombshells.
The Calendar Girls may well have paved the way, but for the past 7 years, The Burlesque Bombshells have dug up the road and planted flowers! A talk that a lot of people can totally resonate. it’s funny, sad and has a happy ending. It’s got Brit Flick written all over it.
